Scrapping The Disney Pics...

Little by little I'm managing to scrap last years Disney World photos. I'm following a challenge on UKScrappers and it's really helping me get through them all. I'm really enjoying it as I get to look through all my photos and it brings back such happy memories. I need to go to WDW again! Here's J & K with the lego family at Downtown family. You should see the Lego store there. It took me ages to get the boys out of there! I followed the latest Pencil Lines Sketch for this LO and also managed to complete the Atlanta Peas 1st challenge, by using the different alphabets. Thanks to everyone for their inspiration through the different challenges.




On a less happier note, I just want to send out good vibes to all those people that are under threat of flood in the UK, keep safe xx

I will never.....

OK, today's blog challenge over on 2peas is "You'll never do _______ again. And here's why..."
So..what will I never do? The two things that come to mind right now are start smoking again and stop dieting! I've been off the cigs now for about 6 weeks and I feel fine. After 20 years of smoking I have no intention of ever picking up a cigarette again. I'm over the craving and I am now, officially, a non smoker. The other thing I will never do again is give up dieting. I am so annoyed about the amount of times that I have joined Slimming World but given up. If only I'd have stuck to it..... But, I'm back on it now full throttle and have my next weigh in next Thursday. I'll let you all know how I get on!

New Callenge Blog

Loving this new challenge blog by ATL Peas. I think they've made a great start and look forward to seing more challenges and joining in as often as I can. Thanks for the inspiration ladies.

I have a Mojo and I'm gonna use it....

The blog prompt on 2peas today is "Do you tend to find yourself always trying to keep up with the in scrappin trend? Or do you just go with what your flow is at that time?" In short-NO. I scrap how I want to scrap. I am quite basically a plain and simple scrapper. I love collage pages but I just can't get it together when I try and it looks a complete mess. Straight lines and simple pages is definately where I'm coming from!
Well, I've been scrapping again tonight and managed 2 LO's for the Disney Challenge on UKScrappers. This weeks challenge was transport. So I scrapped this picture of the baby that flew us there. I knew this picture would come in handy one day!


and this one from when we managed to sit up front with the driver on the WDW monorail. The boys were so happy about getting to do this.

No scrapping at the weekend!...

Well, what did I tell you? I did no scrapping at the weekend at all. I really need to get my bum off the sofa and start scrapping more. I tend to use all my spare time surfing scrapping sites on the web, rather than playing with paper.
However, I've managed a LO tonight, which combined 2 challenges. The Disney challenge from UKScrappers and the Scraplift challenge from 2peas. I scraplifted the wonderful 'Cacti'by Melissa Parada. Take a look at her gallery - she' has some beautiful work. I just hope I've done it justice.

On Strike!

Take a look at my new Meez girl to the right! I am on strike. I don't want to wash clothes, I don't want to spend all weekend ironing, I don't want to walk round after two 7yr olds tidying up, I don't want to vacuum and sweep floors. I AM ON STRIKE!!!!!! You know it won't last though! I'll be back to tidying up again tomorrow! I have done no scrapping so far this weekend, so I'm getting up early tomorrow, so I can get my chores finished, and then on to some serious scrapping. Hopefully I'll have something to post tomorrow!

What am I doing this weekend?

Following the Two Peas blog challenge for today 'What are you scrapping plans for the weekend?'
Tonight after work I need to finish my little BIA book for the 'special' Christmas Cards for 2007 - not sure about this one though!
Then I need to do my Disney challenge for this thread on UKScrappers , and if I get time, I'd also like to do this challenge too, as I love the sketch.
You know what they say though about best laid plans and all that! I'll update you on Sunday night - what do you reckon - do you think I'll get some scrapping done, or will the housework and the kids get in the way?
